Dr. Carla D. Adams
Dr. Carla D. Adams received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. She received her undergraduate degree from Jacksonville University and her Masters degree from the University of North Florida. She is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association, the Saint Charles Chamber of Commerce and the St. Charles Mother's Club.
Dr. Adams has lectured on a variety of topics including the Impact of Diabetes on the Eyes and Multiple Sclerosis and the Eyes. She has also taught board certification classes to aspiring opticians. Presently, Dr. Adams has been appointed to a national advisory panel for LASIK vision correction.
In addition her primary practice, Dr. Adams provides services to nursing home throughout the western suburbs. She enjoys fitting contact lenses and treating advanced diseases such as extreme dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration and allergies. She is also licensed to treat eye disorders which include eye infections and surgery co-management.
Outside the workplace, Dr. Adams enjoys time with her husband and their two daughters.
